We have been called to faith and life in
Jesus Christ the Son of God.
You may be familiar with our building on Chicago Road, but we would like for you to discover the story inside and about our congregation.
A part of the Thornton community and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod since 1881, our congregation was organized by some of the first settlers of this area. We are currently being served by Pastor Harold Wahl.
If you don’t already have a church home, we hope that you’ll stop by because we like getting to know our neighbors.
We Believe...
- The Bible to be the inspired Word of God.
- Jesus, the Son of God, is a personal Savior, who has redeemed us from sin, death and hell.
- Through faith in Jesus we have eternal life.
- Through the Word, Baptism and the Lord’s Supper, the Holy Spirit creates and nourishes our faith.
- Because Christ’s death and resurrection paid for our sins, we are His, join Him is His Kingdom and should serve Him with our lives.

Neighbor to Neighbor
We would like to invite you to worship with us at St. Paul where the message of Jesus Christ is presented clearly and faithfully.
We extend this invitation because we believe that everyone needs to hear the Word of God.
We are responsible to God. Even when we forget or dishonor Him, He still cares and loves us. That is why He sent Jesus into the world to break the barriers that separates us from Him. You too can share this peace that passes all understanding.
In this often confusing world, God revealed His goodness in Jesus. When we start to think about our own faults and short comings, Jesus’ words and life guide us to the answers of our most basic questions. We would like to share this good news and the One that makes it possible with you.
